Making a smoothie is one of the quickest ways to get extra nutrition into your children.  Just blend some produce together and you have an instant treat!

We’re low on fresh produce at the moment & I might not make it to the market today — so this is how I am making up for the deficit — raiding the freezer!

I tend to follow the whatever-I-have-available recipe du jour.

Delicious Mixed Berry Smoothies!

Here is the basic recipe I use…


2 cups mixed frozen organic berries

1 & ½ cup milk (almond milk works great)

1 teaspoon honey (optional)


Combine all ingredients together in a blender and puree until smooth.

Serve & enjoy!
